Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Quantum Pipes Technologies, LLC ("Quantum Pipes," "we," "our," "us") handles information about visitors to www.quantumpipes.com and any subdomains owned by Quantum Pipes that link to this policy (collectively, the "Site").

This policy covers the marketing site only. The Quantum Pipes platform itself is software you deploy on your own infrastructure under the Apache License, Version 2.0. Once deployed, all data the platform processes stays on hardware you control and is governed by your own privacy and security program, not by us. We have no operational visibility into a deployed Quantum Pipes installation.

If you use a separate commercial service we offer (for example, a deployment engagement or hosted GPU inference), that relationship is governed by a written agreement between your organization and ours. That agreement controls in case of any conflict with this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Email address and message content: when you write to wecare@quantumpipes.com or hello@quantumpipes.com, we receive whatever you send so we can respond.
• Newsletter address: if you submit your email to our updates list, we use it to send you platform notes you can unsubscribe from at any time.

Information collected automatically

• Edge request logs: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes routine network metadata for every request: IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, referer header, response status, and approximate timing. This is standard CDN telemetry used to deliver pages, mitigate abuse, and keep the Site online.
• Privacy-respecting analytics (when enabled): when configured, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records aggregate page metrics without setting cookies, fingerprinting browsers, or identifying individual visitors. If our deployment environment has not enabled this analytics token, no analytics beacon is shipped at all. You can verify this in your browser's network panel.

Information we do not collect

We have made specific architectural choices to keep the Site quiet:

• No cookies are set by Quantum Pipes application code on this Site. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set short-lived strictly-necessary cookies (for example, __cf_bm for bot management or _cfuvid for rate limiting) when its security features are active. These cookies do not contain personal information, are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and expire on a short timeline. Cloudflare publishes their behavior at developers.cloudflare.com.
• No third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or marketing automation scripts are loaded.
• No assets are loaded from third-party CDNs that could phone home. Typefaces are self-hosted from our origin.
• No cross-site tracking of any kind.
• No browser fingerprinting.
• No session recording, replay, or heatmap tooling.

The Site sets a strict Permissions-Policy HTTP header that disables access to camera, microphone, geolocation, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, payment APIs, USB, the Topics API, and FLoC. These restrictions are enforced by your browser; we never request them.

3. How we use the information

We use the information described above to:

• Operate, secure, and maintain the Site.
• Investigate and respond to abuse, errors, and security events.
• Reply to your direct outreach.
• Send you newsletter updates if you opt in.
• Understand at an aggregate level which pages are read, when analytics are enabled.

We do not:

• Sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers.
• Train any AI model, ours or anyone else's, on information we collect from this Site.
• Share information with advertisers.
• Build behavioral profiles for marketing purposes.

4. Sub-processors

We engage a small set of vendors to operate the Site. Each is contractually bound to handle data on our behalf only.

We update this list when it changes. Material additions are reflected in this policy with an updated effective date.

5. Legal bases (EU/UK visitors)

If the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interests for operating the Site, defending it from abuse, and analyzing traffic in aggregate. Our interest is keeping the Site secure and useful, balanced against your reasonable expectations.
• Consent for the optional newsletter. You can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by emailing us.
• Performance of pre-contractual or contractual steps when you contact us about a possible engagement.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information about you. We honor these rights for all visitors, regardless of jurisdiction.

To exercise any right, email wecare@quantumpipes.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We verify your request and respond within thirty (30) days, or sooner where the law requires.

If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have violated your rights, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We prefer that you contact us first so we can resolve the issue directly.

California (CCPA / CPRA)

In the past twelve months we have collected the categories of information described in Section 2: identifiers (email, IP), internet activity (request logs), and the contents of communications you initiate. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law and have not done so in the past twelve months. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger a right to limit.

You may submit "Right to Know," "Right to Delete," or "Right to Correct" requests to wecare@quantumpipes.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for written proof of authorization and, where required, may also verify directly with you.

7. International transfers

Cloudflare's edge network is global, which means a request to the Site may be served from a data center outside your country. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on Cloudflare's Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures for international transfers.

8. Retention

• Edge request logs: retained by Cloudflare under their default retention policy. We do not separately store raw access logs.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics: aggregate metrics retained per Cloudflare's published policy.
• Email correspondence: retained for as long as needed to address your inquiry plus a reasonable archival period for our records.
• Newsletter list: retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete.

9. Security

We protect the Site with strict transport security (HSTS preload), modern HTTP security headers, principle-of-least-permission browser capability locks, and self-hosted assets. No Internet service can guarantee perfect security. If you discover a vulnerability, please follow our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.

10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because the Site does not engage in cross-site tracking and sets no cookies, browser signals such as Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) have no third-party tracking to suppress. We do not change behavior based on those signals because we do not engage in the conduct they are designed to prevent.

11. Children

The Site is directed at organizations and the people who deploy AI infrastructure for them. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where the GDPR applies), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent material change. For substantive changes, we will publish a notice on the Site for a reasonable period before the change takes effect.
