Terms of Service

1. About the Site

The Site is the marketing and informational presence of Quantum Pipes Technologies, LLC ("Quantum Pipes," "we," "our," "us"). It exists to describe our work, engage with the open-source community, and let interested parties reach us. The Site is not the product. Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer, sale, or contract for the Quantum Pipes platform or any related service.

2. Relationship to the Quantum Pipes platform

The Quantum Pipes platform and its component organs are released as open source under the Apache License, Version 2.0. Your rights and obligations with respect to the platform are governed by the LICENSE, NOTICE, and PATENTS files distributed with the source code, not by these Terms. These Terms govern only your use of the Site.

Some Quantum Pipes packages are distributed under proprietary terms rather than Apache 2.0. Each package is governed by the license in its repository. Where a discrepancy exists between the Site's description of a package and the license file distributed with that package, the license file controls.

If we offer commercial services around the platform (deployment assistance, support, hosted GPU inference, or similar), those services are governed by separate written agreements signed by both parties. No statement on this Site creates such an agreement.

3. Acceptable use

You may browse, read, and link to the Site. You may not:

• Probe or test the security of the Site outside the boundaries of our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems.
• Interfere with the Site's operation, including by automated traffic that imposes a disproportionate load.
• Scrape the Site for purposes that violate the rate limits we publish in robots.txt or that strip authorship attribution from reproduced content.
• Misrepresent yourself as Quantum Pipes or imply an affiliation we have not granted.
• Use the Site to publish or distribute material that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harassing.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to limit or block access to the Site.

4. Intellectual property

The Site's content, design, and trademarks belong to Quantum Pipes, with the following exceptions:

• Open-source software: each project we distribute under Apache 2.0 is governed by its own LICENSE file. The patent grant in Apache 2.0 applies as written.
• Brand assets: the Quantum Pipes name, logo, and stylized marks are trademarks of Quantum Pipes Technologies, LLC. You may reference them factually (for example, to describe a deployment) but you may not use them to imply endorsement, affiliation, or origin without our written permission.
• Quoted material: third-party trademarks and quotations remain the property of their respective owners.

You retain all rights in any content you submit to us.

5. Forward-looking statements

The Site describes our architecture, posture, and roadmap. Some statements describe what the platform does today, while others describe a direction we are actively building toward. In particular:

• Compliance framework mappings (for example, the percentage coverage we report for FedRAMP, SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, PCI DSS, FINRA, GDPR, the EU AI Act, NIST 800-53, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, and CMMC) reflect our internal assessment of how the platform's controls align to each framework. They are not certifications. They are not attestations. They are not warranties of compliance. A Quantum Pipes deployment becomes compliant with any framework only when you, the deploying organization, complete your own independent audit, attestation, or certification. We will support that work; we do not perform it on the Site's behalf.
• Performance, capability, and roadmap claims describe goals and present-tense capabilities that may evolve. We may add, change, or retire features at any time without notice.
• Security and cryptographic posture claims (including air-gap, zero-egress, and post-quantum claims) depend on how your organization configures and operates the platform. Statements on the Site describe what the platform permits in supported configurations and are not a substitute for your own threat modeling and configuration review.
• Hardware references (for example, references to specific accelerator models or vendors) are illustrative of supported configurations and may change.

You should not rely on a forward-looking statement as a basis for a purchasing, regulatory, audit, or investment decision. Decisions of that weight require a written agreement with us and your own independent verification.

6. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party resources (open-source repositories, research papers, partner sites, social profiles). We do not control those resources and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

7. No warranty

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. STATEMENTS ON THE SITE ABOUT THE QUANTUM PIPES PLATFORM ARE INFORMATIONAL ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE A WARRANTY ABOUT THE PLATFORM, WHICH IS GOVERNED BY ITS OWN LICENSE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, QUANTUM PIPES, ITS AFFILIATES, AND ITS PERSONNEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100). THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE CLAIM IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND APPLIES EVEN IF A LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, IN WHICH CASE THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quantum Pipes from any third-party claim arising out of (a) your use of the Site in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (b) your violation of any third-party right.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (for example, intellectual property, no-warranty, limitation of liability, indemnification, and the dispute provisions) will survive termination.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Quantum Pipes consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

If you live in a jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection laws give you stronger rights, those rights apply notwithstanding this section.

You and Quantum Pipes each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class or representative action. Any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent material change. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Miscellaneous

These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy) are the entire agreement between you and Quantum Pipes regarding the Site. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. The English-language version of these Terms is authoritative.
